The Accounting Society is an academic organization of the State University of New York at Oswego. The purpose of the organization is to help students through college and in their careers. The organization has no restrictions to join and is open to all students and majors. The Accounting Society seeks to bring students together as friends and classmates to improve their time spent at SUNY Oswego. The club brings in professionals from the field to speak about various topics including the CPA exam, the big four accounting firms, and more.

We the students at SUNY Oswego on the African American Male Empowering Network
(AAMEN) organization were founded to be a support group whose purpose is to allow African
American Males to acknowledge and accept their shared experiences and realities. In addition to
that we allow ourselves and our members the opportunity to meet and achieve academic and
personal goals. The African American Male Empowering Network will encourage the
enhancement of group cohesion, self-esteem, emphasize strengths, and serve as an extension of
the family of origin

The Asian Student Association exists to involve students in Asian culture, as well as to provide an Asian/Asian-American community to SUNY Oswego. We offer students opportunities to learn about different aspects of Asian cultures in interactive programs hosted biweekly. Examples of these educational experiences include Asian regional ethnic studies and DIY cooking and art. We also provide resume-building opportunities such as an Executive board committee implemented in our organization. We occasionally host special events on campus to encourage the SUNY Oswego community to become involved with Asian cultures, such as annual holiday celebrations or festivals. We also will implement a dance subgroup within the association to have a creative output to the Asian Student Association. These activities within the Asian Student Association give the students an interactive break from their regular school routine but also encourages continued learning along the way. The organization's community will provide
the chance for students to learn from each other and build relationships and networks. The Asian Student Association will also collaborate with other ALANA organizations to further strengthen cultural relationships throughout the campus community.

The SUNY Oswego Student Circle Chapter is organized to operate educational purposes,
including but not limited to:

● Promoting and advancing the profession of African Psychology
● Influencing and affecting social change
● Developing programs whereby psychologists of African descent (hereafter known

The purposes of this organization are:
1. To provide a Christian fellowship to deepen and strengthen the spiritual life of
Christians in the Oswego University community (students, faculty, and staff who wish
to be involved) through Bible study, prayer, worship, and any activity the organization
shall deem positive to its members.
2. To be committed to the teachings of the Bible as put forth by the doctrines of the
sponsoring local church(s).

The promotion and strengthening of cultural ties among Oswego State University’s and Oswego Community. Section II. The promotion of Caribbean art and culture among the student community at Oswego State University and the General Oswego community. Section III. The fostering of a sense of pride and identity among the People of the Caribbean by their discovery of a Caribbean Consciousness. Section IV. To promote an understanding of the contemporary Caribbean world, in the Oswego community, through the airing of the issues and challenges, faced by the Caribbean in the twentieth century.

The chemistry club is an academic organization primarily dedicated to giving students assistance with their chemistry club by offering free tutoring. We are also an affiliate of the ACS (American Chemical Society). A nationally reorganized organization in the science fields. It is not mandatory for any student to be a member of ACS because there are dues involved, however we do strongly encourage it. The Chemistry club also tries to bring a social environment where students and professors can mix on the same level. We help our members and other students see what they can do with their chemistry/science degrees. The club also wants to show that chemistry can be fun to the campus and the community.

Clay Bodies is an organization comprised of students interested in both the craft and fine art quality of ceramics as a hobby and a passion of life. As ceramic artists, we cherish our medium because it comes purely from the Earth. We are able to manipulate our medium and adorn it with decoration of glazes and mixed media.
The group's primary focus is to actively continue to gain knowledge of the ceramic arts while creating and developing new pieces. The group goal is to attend lectures and conferences where they will be able to increase their knowledge in this ancient craft and learn about all its new innovations in current trends.
