Accessibility Resources is dedicated to working with the faculty and staff on campus to meet the needs of students with disabilities. The office provides support services, adaptive technologies, and other assistance required to help all students succeed. We work with all students, whether you attend classes at the SUNY Oswego campus, Syracuse Campus or online, regardless if it's a temporary or permanent disability.

The Accounting Society is an academic organization of the State University of New York at Oswego. The purpose of the organization is to help students through college and in their careers. The organization has no restrictions to join and is open to all students and majors. The Accounting Society seeks to bring students together as friends and classmates to improve their time spent at SUNY Oswego. The club brings in professionals from the field to speak about various topics including the CPA exam, the big four accounting firms, and more.

We the students at SUNY Oswego on the African American Male Empowering Network
(AAMEN) organization were founded to be a support group whose purpose is to allow African
American Males to acknowledge and accept their shared experiences and realities. In addition to
that we allow ourselves and our members the opportunity to meet and achieve academic and
personal goals. The African American Male Empowering Network will encourage the
enhancement of group cohesion, self-esteem, emphasize strengths, and serve as an extension of
the family of origin

Evaluating Yourself: Areas of Strength and Areas for Improvement featuring Keynote Speaker: Dr. Joshua Fredenburg

Students who attend this event will begin the process of self-evaluating the habits, characteristics and behaviors that either support or hinder their development as leaders. This personalized experience enables students to take ownership of their growth and plan to accomplish goals set for the academic year.

Concluding event for the conference, where attendees will be served multicultural cuisines. This event recaps on the week and encourages students to continue their pursuit of campus opportunities for leadership and Personal development. Dr. Mayweather will also speak to students about consistency, commitment to development and establishing the characteristics of an effective leader.

The ALANA Multicultural Leadership conference was created to showcase multicultural organizations impact on campus, while providing programs for student leader development, appreciation of diversity, and the importance of being an engaged student on campus, in preparation for your career, upon graduation and becoming an alumni.

Students who participate in the ALANA (African Latino Asian Native American) Multicultural Leadership Conference have an opportunity to develop skills that will help them as leaders and managers within their student organizations today, while preparing them for success on their career paths. Alpha Epsilon Phi was founded at Banard college by seven Jewish women who were excluded from other organizations for being Jewish. The ideals and values these seven women held will live on through the name of Alpha Epsilon Phi. When looking for potential new members we look for these values within these women, we also look for people who respect Jewish heritage and the values that Jewish people hold. In order to be a member of Aephi it is important to understand the hardship that the Jewish people had to undergo, this is a very important part of Alpha Epsilon Phi.

The Asian Student Association exists to involve students in Asian culture, as well as to provide an Asian/Asian-American community to SUNY Oswego. We offer students opportunities to learn about different aspects of Asian cultures in interactive programs hosted biweekly. Examples of these educational experiences include Asian regional ethnic studies and DIY cooking and art. We also provide resume-building opportunities such as an Executive board committee implemented in our organization. We occasionally host special events on campus to encourage the SUNY Oswego community to become involved with Asian cultures, such as annual holiday celebrations or festivals. We also will implement a dance subgroup within the association to have a creative output to the Asian Student Association. These activities within the Asian Student Association give the students an interactive break from their regular school routine but also encourages continued learning along the way. The organization's community will provide
the chance for students to learn from each other and build relationships and networks. The Asian Student Association will also collaborate with other ALANA organizations to further strengthen cultural relationships throughout the campus community.
