The purpose of the Disc Golf Club is to allow student participation in the sport at SUNY Oswego. The club will provide students with a safe environment for practicing Disc Golf at any skill level. Membership of the Ice Skating Club at Oswego State is open to all SUNY Oswego students who have interest in improving their skating skills. There is no charge to skate with us, and there are always coaches to help those who are looking to improve.

The purpose of the Judo Club is to provide a safe and enriching environment for students to learn and train the renowned martial art known as Judo and grow as both a student and a martial artist. Students who attend will learn the safe and correct way to practice the art of Judo which not only may offer them self-defense in their personal lives but teach them the values and principles that practicing such an art embodies.
In close observance of Kodokan Judo and the Bushido Code, members will develop skills in practice of the martial art, comradery with their training partners, and will strive for humility,
respect, and excellence. Members of the Judo Club will maintain discipline and responsibility for themselves and their training partners to foster safety and personal growth, within and outside of the training room.
The goal of the Judo Club is to improve the people who attend on a daily basis, as both a person and a martial artist.

The Oswego State Flag Football Club was formed to fill a void of football here on campus. The Oswego State Flag Football Club is open to all gender students at SUNY Oswego regardless of grade level. The club will offer the opportunity to compete against local and national teams as well as a chance to compete in the NIRSA Regional and National Tournaments. The club will have effective and consistent practices. Coaches will work to better themselves and their knowledge of the game so that they can help the team improve.

The Equestrian Team exists to provide and educational and fun experience for those interested in riding and/or caring for horses in both competitive and non-competitive environments. The purposes of forming a Women's Soccer Club is to allow girls to play soccer on a team without having to be on varsity, to get girls involved in school activities, and to enjoy their Oswego State experience. There is a need for this organization because there are few competitive club sports, We believe that the addition of a Women's Soccer Club will enhance the experience of female students at Oswego. During intramural soccer, indoor and outdoor, there is a high interest in being on an actual team. We feel the intramural sports don't last long enough and that the girls do play intramurals would be more than enough to have a club team.

There are many purposes of having this club at SUNY Oswego. The main objective is to allow female students that want to play volleyball for SUNY Oswego the ability to do so. A problem that some students run in to is that they do not have the time to commit to a varsity team. Since our club team would have a slightly more relaxed policy, it would allow those female students that do not have the time to participate on the varsity team the ability to participate. Also, some students have tried-out for the school's varsity team, but were not chosen to be on the team. Our club team would allow them to play and to do something they enjoy doing.
