Alpha Epsilon Phi was founded at Banard college by seven Jewish women who were excluded from other organizations for being Jewish. The ideals and values these seven women held will live on through the name of Alpha Epsilon Phi. When looking for potential new members we look for these values within these women, we also look for people who respect Jewish heritage and the values that Jewish people hold. In order to be a member of Aephi it is important to understand the hardship that the Jewish people had to undergo, this is a very important part of Alpha Epsilon Phi.

Alpha Phi Omega (APO) is a national co-ed fraternity founded in its three core principles of leadership, friendship, and service. With these ideals we hope to teach you to become an architect of your own ambitions and the opportunity to develop yourself to be whatever you seek to be.

Our colors are royal blue and glory gold, which represents pure intent and thought and high value, respect, royalty, and a sign of love respectively.

APO is a highly respected and wonderful organization that helps foster leadership and friendship through multiple service programs and various opportunities.

The Fraternity should complement and enhance the educational mission of the host institution.
The Fraternity is committed to fostering a close cooperative partnership with all colleges and universities where its chapters exist. The Fraternity should promote academic achievement and assist each member to achieve his academic potential. By helping members adjust to the college environment, we can help them pursue their degree goals. Co-curricular activities can be as valuable as the classroom experience; hence, the Fraternity should promote involvement in all aspects of campus life.
The Fraternity should promote the ideal of Brotherhood.
The creation of lifelong friendships is a primary benefit of Fraternity membership. The Fraternity fulfills the need of students to belong to an extended family and frequently provides the opportunity to enhance those personal relationships through group living situations. As Brothers, our members have an obligation to have a caring concern for the welfare of our members. Brotherhood is a lifetime commitment; therefore, we should encourage strong alumni-undergraduate relationships for the mutual benefit of the students and the alumni.
The Fraternity should actively contribute to the personal growth and development of its members.
We teach young men social skills that will benefit them throughout their lifetime. The multitude of leadership opportunities available through the Fraternity prepares members for success in their chosen careers. Chapters should organize well-rounded programs and strive for excellence and quality in all undertakings.

The lessons taught from Fraternity ritual should be incorporated into the daily lives of the members. Kappa Sigmas are expected to act as gentlemen at all times, and the Fraternity must demand the highest standards of personal conduct. The Fraternity should instill a sense of responsibility and integrity. The dignity of all persons shall always be respected

Omicron Xi is a social sorority that values its relationship with the campus and Oswego communities. We support our Philanthropy, Oswego County Humane Society through charity work, volunteering and fundraising. Our mission is to inspire important and lasting relationships amongst our sisters and other Greek organizations. Sisters can be distinctly seen around campus wearing their colors - sea green, white and medium blue. But there is much more behind those colors... Omicron Xi stands for Harmony and Strength in Eternal Sisterhood, and our motto is "uniting for a common cause." These founding principles are depicted on our crest through our symbols, the helmet, harp, and lion.

The primary objectives of Sigma Gamma Fraternity are to promote and maintain an environment wherein men from all backgrounds, nationalities, creeds, religions and economic backgrounds can come together and flourish as a group of individuals. Sigma Gamma strongly believes in promoting brotherhood and actively seeks to create strong ties to our organization, the City of Oswego and of course, to SUNY Oswego as well. Sigma Gamma places great emphasis on the importance of handing down traditions over the years. Indeed, Sigma Gamma Fraternity members can take comfort in the fact that many of the traditional activities they undertake while in school are descendent of the very same activities undertaken by generations of brothers who have proudly worn the green and gold colors of Sigma Gamma.
