ALANA Peace Walk, Closing Program & Reception

The ALANA Planning Committee and the Black Student Union are hosting the Annual ALANA Peace Walk on the International Day of Peace; Saturday, September 21 at 11 AM.
The Peace Walk will begin at 11 AM at the Oswego City Hall on West 2nd Street in the City of Oswego.
The Peace Walk will conclude at the bus loop entrance to the Marano Campus Center (MCC).
Shortly after the conclusion of the walk, the ALANA Closing Program will take place in the MCC Auditorium (approximately Noon). The program which will involve student leaders of the Power 5 Multicultural Student Organizations (ASA, ASO, BSU, CSA, LSU) sharing their thoughts on the 2024 ALANA Theme: Our Culture, Our Voice, Our Community, Our Vote. This will be followed by Acknowledgements, Thank You's and the Closing Reception for ALANA 2024.

The D Bus will pick students up who would like a ride to Oswego City Hall at 10:30 AM and 10:45 AM from the MCC Bus Loop. We recommend being in the MCC Bus Loop by 10:25 AM to make sure you get a ride.
